Today is Cinco de Mayo (i.e. the 5th of May) and as part of he celebration, Guzman Y Gomez was selling burritos and burrito bowls for $5. Fortunately I came in and ordered right before a huge crowd of about 15 people walked in. Although it was quite busy most people got takeaway so it was easy to find a seat. My pork chipotle burrito bowl arrived within minutes of ordering. It had slow roasted and shredded pork shoulder, rice, black beans, tomato, coriander, onion and cheese. More...

I haven't been to any Korean restaurants away from the CBD so I was interested to see how this one compared. The price was comparable to the city joints I've visited so far, but the food was better than most. Sriracha and...

Grill'd have recently launched new sliders and sides at all stores and to kick it off, they were giving out vouchers to try 3 sliders for $10 (instead of $15). The three chosen today were: Beef with cheese, mustard and pickle; Beef with pomegranate and mild wasabi slaw; Chicken with Asian slaw and roasted peanuts. For some reason there was wasabi in the Asian slaw, but not in the 'mild wasabi slaw'. I preferred the juicy beef patty over the chicken breast and my favourite of the three...
