Using free-range, organic meats and local ingredients when possible, meatballs constructed at Meatballs & Sons are homemade. Their sauces, marinades, chutneys and preserves are also prepared in-house, with their menu changing with whatever seasonal produce is available. I came pretty early in the day so there weren't many dine-in customers, though there were a lot of people coming in for takeaway coffee. I ordered a Ropa Vieja arepa, which was "Old Clothes” beef served with guacamole and picadillo. The beef wasn't melt-in-your-mouth tender, but it was still soft, moist and very flavoursome.
