Eat'aliano by Pino is a casual eatery serving traditional Italian fare. Hanging planter boxes, exposed globes and timber tables brings a modern touch to the restaurant. Owner Pino Russo, also co-owner of La Svolta in Hampton, had a vision to bring the regional flavours of Italy to our doorstep. Only a short walk from Chapel Street, Eat'aliano by Pino uses produce from the Prahran markets to create their dishes, which might hail from the Piedmont region, or be prepared in the Naples cooking style....

Chill Bro Paletas are branching out from their namesake and have started selling another Mexican sweet favourite - churros! Mexican churros use regular sugar rather than the castor sugar used in their Spanish cousins. The bite-sized churros come with dipping sauce and toppings, or drizzled over in dulce de leche caramel sauce. BurgerBurger is a local burger joint on the shopping strip on Union Road, family owned and operated by Nesh and Leena Rakhra. The warm, comfortable interior has a mixture of tables and bar seats, both at front windows, and at the back past the stoves. I did make the mistake of sitting near the windowed dishwashing room, and experienced the fragrance of dishwashing detergent mixed in with my burgers...
