Mistral is a restaurant located within the Sofitel at Ponte 16. Normally the lunch buffet is 168MOP, but this January and February it has been reduced to 98MOP, or about 14AUD after including the 10% service charge. While our parents waiting in line for the ferry to Macau, A2 and I went into the nearby Aji Ichiban – a Japanese small-snack store. A2 bought a pineapple biscuit, a pineapple in green tea biscuit and a chestnut bun. I got a small vacuum pack of roasted goose and a pack of soy quail eggs. For breakfast mum and I planned to visit the oyster congee restaurant they visited on their last trip. On the way home from Itamae Sushi last night, we came across a branch of Ming Yuen Noodle Restaurant. This branch doesn’t sell claypot dishes, but it does have oyster congee. We were going to this restaurant instead of the other one so we did’t have to travel so far. It had only been 2-3 hours after our Portuguese tart feast so none of us were really hungry, but we thought we should have something to eat before returning to the hotel.
