The Julien Moussi steam train continues on, and Mount Waverley is the next destination. Stanley is a little cosier than his other cafes, but still has a covered courtyard – a great spot to enjoy the occasional sunny day we get during Melbourne’s winter.

The menu seems to be mainly a mix of favourites from their other cafes, with dishes like Clubhouse Malvern’s Black Forest Panna Cotta, My Other Brother’s decandentaly rich Nutella HK Waffles, Orange Blossom Hotcakes and Beef Brisket Benny making an appearance.

The Spiced Chicken Schnitzel and Thai-inspired Fried Soft Shell Crab are amongst the unique dishes, and for something healthier, you can’t go too wrong with the Sriracha Salmon Flora Bowl

It may seem like more of the same dishes, but with the reputation behind the name, you know you’re getting a good standard of food and coffee.
