Being a cold winter's day I wanted something to warm me up, but still wanted to enjoy Shimbashi's wonderful soba. As a compromise, I had the Kamo Seiro Soba, which is cold soba served with a warm broth with duck slices ($19). Filled with simple, clean and homely decor, The Grain Store is serviced by quite a large and busy kitchen. Wagaya is a restaurant chain from the same group that brought us Sushi Hotaru and to celebrate its opening, it was offering 50% off the whole menu. Wagaya is also located in Mid City Arcade and it's accessed via elevator through to level 3.
