Waffles are making an appearance in cafes all over Melbourne, but not many places can claim to specialise in waffles. Sweet options are aplenty, but how about savoury ones? Not too easy to come by. Undergoing an revamp and rebranding in 2014, St Hotel is a multi-story European bar and resaturant featuring menus by Head Chef Ben Isaacs. Excitement and anticipation levels were high as its launch date approached, with Higher Ground being a sibling of the likes of ever-popular Top Paddock and The Kettle Black.
