At 12pm we headed towards the new part of town and went into Princes Plaza for lunch. There we got fish and chips and rhubarb pie for desert. A2 also got a Crunchie McFlurry (99p) from McDonalds. On arrival at the apartment, we realised that the German Market had already opened even though it was only 5pm (someone earlier had told us it opened at 7pm). We briefly went around to see what food there was. For dinner we went into Sainsbury’s (a supermarket) and got some fruit (blackberries, 2 punnets for ₤3, plums, ₤2) a tub of plain briyani rice and a tub of mushroom briyani rice (₤2 each), 2 boxes of sushi (₤2.90 each) and a box of Chinese-style chicken drumlettes and wings (₤2.69).
