Armed with an Entertainment Book voucher, we set out to Sapore. The menu seemed a bit pricier than what we usually pay for so I hoped the restaurant lived up to its Urbanspoon rating and Good Food Guide recommendation. Today I visited to the Abbotsford Convent Supper Market, which is held on Friday nights during summer months. There were a few stalls open, which included vendors selling candles, jewellery, organic dried fruits and handmade leather notebooks. Lentils As Anything, Kappaya and Convent Bakery were open and busy with patrons. There weren't as many food stalls as I thought there'd be. Off to Errol's for work's Christmas dinner. I ordered the seafood salad ($19.90), consisting of prawns, scallops, mussels and calamari served on a bed of spinach and tomato with a balsamic vinaigrette. It was tasted quite good, however as I neared the bottom of the plate where the salad was more saturated with vinaigrette, the spinach became very salty and I couldn't finish it. I purchased a Groupon for the Abruzzo Club a few months ago and it was time to use it. We managed to get a carpark right outside the social club, but there was also a carpark across the road specially for patrons.
