Being a function space as well as a restaurant, The Boulevard has a simple but modern open space next to the wine bar. It's next to the 9-hole Studley Park Golf Course and has a nice view of the city, or at least whatever is visible above the tree line. I'm not normally one for buying cupcakes, but since I was in the area and had an Entertainment Book voucher I thought I might as well. When I perused the menu a few weeks ago there was only one dish I was interested in trying, which was the smoked salmon omelette. I came pretty early in the day so there weren't many dine-in customers, though there were a lot of people coming in for takeaway coffee. I ordered a Ropa Vieja arepa, which was "Old Clothes” beef served with guacamole and picadillo. The beef wasn't melt-in-your-mouth tender, but it was still soft, moist and very flavoursome.
