This restaurant reminded me of a cheap, family friendly restaurant like Sofia's, mainly because the waiters were wearing hoodies. I got a vegetarian calzone with eggplant, zucchini, mushrooms and chicory (€7.50), dad ordered spaghetti carbonara (€6.50) and mum ordered linguini al pesto (€6.50) and tagliolini with porcini mushrooms and clams (€9). At Magnolia café, also located in Campo de' Fiori, we had dinner. We ordered penne arrabiato (the spicy sauce, €7), grilled seafood (fish [mum thinks catfish], squid, yabby, €15), and a set dinner special with plain bruscetta, a choice of seafood linguini, vegetable with tortelloni (giant tortellini) or another pasta and a drink for €12. The hotel had a free shuttle bus service into the city. From the drop-off point, Campo de' Fiori (the square with the Bruno statue) was only a few minutes away. From behind a florist we bought pizza from Forno, which charges pizza by weight. We bought half an eggplant pizza for €3.30 and it was really good.
