Had the opportunity to try All Day Burger today. I just had their regular burger with free range beef pattie, cheese, lettuce, tomato and their special mayonnaise ($8). Other options included double meat, veggie burger and a special of the day, which was chorizo-flavoured chicken. French fries were also available. The pattie had some good flavours, though mine wasn't particularly juicy. There was also a low bread to filling ratio so the burger wasn't as moist as it could have been. Our post-exams celebration was originally going to be at Hardware Societe, but unfortunately a fire at the adjacent building last night will be putting it out of business for a while. I went to Curtin House rooftop in the hopes that Beatbox Kitchen Rooftop was still open, but at the moment the rooftop is home to All Day Burgers. I've decided that my taste buds aren't all that excited by beef, mustard and pickles so if I eat a burger like that I have to know it's something special before I try it. When the Mr Burger food truck is at Therry St it can be found in a laneway across the road from the Queen Vic Deli. The menu is simple, having only three burger options: Mr Burger, Mr Meat and Mr Veg. The Mr Burger comes with a beef pattie, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, mustard, mayo and tomato sauce. It came half-wrapped in foil, which helped to contain the burger, particularly the cheese, and keep my hands clean. With the mustard and pickles it was a lot like eating...

A 2-hour group assignment meeting quickly morphed into a 5-hour long no-breaks marathon where people were starting to become hangry but also wanted to get the assignment over and done with. By the time we finished, I was concerned that Chuckle Park would no longer be serving their famed pulled pork rolls, which apparently sometimes sell out.
