We had a family celebration at Melba buffet, located inside the Langham hotel with a lovely riverside view. We decided to come during a weekday lunchtime, which was the cheapest and least busy time to go. I'm still not a huge fan of buffets because of the excess, waste and greed it brings out in people - I'd personally prefer a smaller but better quality meal at a nicer restaurant. Going to buffets on every now and then is OK though, and it was a special occasion. Despite hearing that...

During its 10th anniversary, owners Luis Pampliega and Tamara Volkoff decided to give the Southgate stalwart Tutto Bene a sibling named Artusi. I was invited by Fuller PR to attend Artusi's launch party. Named after Pellegrino Artusi, they have adopted the ethos 'The Art of Eating and Drinking Well'. Whilst Tutto Bene focused on traditional family meals, head chef Leandro Panza has designed the Artusi menu to serve up modern Italian made with organic produce. Their menu features handmade pasta, Italian tapas and feasts of duck and joints...

The burger bar is Merrywell Downstairs, but we have an Entertainment Guide discount only for the Upstairs section. According to the online menus, Upstairs served a burger (the Merrywell Angus Burger) that was almost the same as Downstairs, the main difference being served with a brioche rather than...
