Mum saw a 2-course meal special at a restaurant for ₤6.95 somewhere around the Minster. We were going to go there for lunch, but couldn’t find it later. I thought it was just after we exited the roman wall, but it wasn’t. So instead, we went into Crossed Keys, which is a pub. The pastry...

We ordered grilled cod and fried haddock (which mum thinks is blue grenadier). The grilled cod came with new potatoes, which were yellow inside and tartare sauce. The fried haddock came with mushy peas and tartare sauce. The mushy peas were actually quite nice, though I’m not sure what was put inside apart from peas. The fish was around ₤7.95 each. The coffee there was cheap (around ₤1.50?) and mum said it was good coffee. I forgot to take a photo before we ate it. [gallery link="file" order="DESC" columns="2"]...
