For this visit I decided to try one of the dishes on their 'signature menu'. This was sake-poached blue grenadier with soba, snow peas and carrots. I thought there'd only be one fish fillet, but to my surprise there were two. Unfortunately there wasn't much taste in the fish and I couldn't tell there was sake in it. Tomodachi recently changed its name to Japas to reflect the change in their menu. The name is a blend of "Japanese" and "tapas". They'd literally just put up some lantern decorations so the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. The nasu dengaku came first, and looked different to what I expected ($7.80).
