Meatmother has been Richmond’s home of American-style BBQ, bringing smoked meats, buns, sides and cocktails to Swan Street. The Burnt Ends are great as a starter, or something to sure. The pieces are a mix of meaty and decadent fat, and come with a tangy sauce.
The Brisket is one of Meatmother’s crowning achievements. The meat is tender, and there’s a good amount of pepper in the rub. The BBQ sauce that comes alongside the brisket has more hints of tomato sauce than that of the burnt ends. Pickles help to break up all the meatiness.
