After holding a pop-up last year at The Boatbuilder’s Yard, Bang Bang has found permanent digs in Elsternwick, settling into the former Caulfield Rifle Club building right next to Elsternwick station. Head chef Matthew Dunbar has created a menu which takes cues from Indochine (mainland Southeast Asia) and French cuisine. The vision for the Bang Bang is for it to be a flexible space: come in for breakfast, hang around all day at the bar, or wander in for dinner....

Acland Street has received a new Mediterranean eatery, courtesy of owners Paul Jewson and Marco Pugnaloni. They're the duo responsible for St Kilda favourite Fitzrovia, just further north of here. The menu at Roxborough has been dreamt up by Head Chef Christian Byrne, and it caters for both 'by-the-course', and share style dining....
