Jean and Sarin have created an interesting space full of bright colours and simple furniture at Nora. It's almost part-cafe part-art gallery with a table adorned with the ingredients used for the charcoal tarts available that day. Seating is limited, giving it an air of something really special. It was my first time venturing into Maling Rd, even though I've driven past on Canterbury Rd so many times. I was surprised to find such a quaint shopping village inside! Bambaleros is a Mexican/Spanish cafe that offers brunch with a twist and also have their own coffee roaster. I had a bit more time to spare during my lunch break today and thought I'd venture down to the city to try out some of Kuni's lunch specials. Zaza's is just off the quiet end of Bridge Road. Mum and I dropped in for their Kitchen Table Lunch buffet.
