Learning from our experiences at other brunch places on Saturdays, K and I decided to catch up at Snow Pony at around 10am. After perusing the menu we settled on sharing a kangaroo fillet burrito, which consisted of 12” tortilla (made by Abbotsford Convent bakery) filled with spiced black beans, pumpkin, fetta, salsa roja, pepitas ($16) We were told the kangaroo fillet would be cooked rare. I've finally gotten around to visiting Three Bags Full, despite the fact that I've been living only a 5 minute drive away for more than 10 years. Izakaya Jiro opened late last year on Glenferrie Road so we thought we'd try out the new local restaurant for lunch. There's a wide range options on the lunch menu. This visit was with mum, who ordered the spicy pork dosirak. I went with kimchi udon. I can't remember which one was $11 and which was $13.
