Eat'aliano by Pino is a casual eatery serving traditional Italian fare. Hanging planter boxes, exposed globes and timber tables brings a modern touch to the restaurant. Owner Pino Russo, also co-owner of La Svolta in Hampton, had a vision to bring the regional flavours of Italy to our doorstep. Only a short walk from Chapel Street, Eat'aliano by Pino uses produce from the Prahran markets to create their dishes, which might hail from the Piedmont region, or be prepared in the Naples cooking style....

Chill Bro Paletas are branching out from their namesake and have started selling another Mexican sweet favourite - churros! Mexican churros use regular sugar rather than the castor sugar used in their Spanish cousins. The bite-sized churros come with dipping sauce and toppings, or drizzled over in dulce de leche caramel sauce. Alternatively, they can be found in basket form, holding scoops of ice cream for a simultaneously hot and cold treat. Don't take too long taking photos; you'll want to enjoy this one with its crispy churro...

Sardi has long been a local favourite. Having opened in 2014, they recently expanded the back section to accommodate its growing clientele. The new section is bright, courtesy of the large windows, but the furnishings maintain consistency throughout the whole cafe. To go along with its newly expanded interior, Sardi has also started displaying and selling artwork from a former staff member, Hayley June Walker from Wet Paint Fine Arts....
