We’ve all seen frozen yoghurt before, but Blu Spoon does things differently, using Greek yoghurt instead. Pump out fountains of that frozen goodness and load up with toppings like lollies, chocolate, nuts, muesli, rocky road, Greek cakes and baklava, or purchase baklava and rocky road by the block. Fruit is also available for the virtuous. You’re paying by weight so you can spend as much or as little as you like.
My personal favourite is the pomegranate, but there are plenty of flavours ranging from chocolate and berry, to caramelised banana and the icier coconut froyo. Baklava is being homemade before being smashed and incorporated into ice cream and frozen yoghurt. Following on from their popular offer of rocky road as a separate item, they’re now selling baklava. As well as the traditional flavour, there will be plenty of new combinations including dark chocolate and espresso, salted caramel, hazelnut and Nutella and more.
Blu Spoon also has authentic Greek yoghurt with flavours such as lemon curd and almonds, and salted caramel. It’s indulgently thick and creamy; a far cry from the taste and texture of the Greek yoghurt you might pick up from the supermarket.
