I was recently invited to celebrate Cloudy Bay's 30th anniversary and the launch of their new 2015 vintage Sauvignon Blanc. It's Oktoberfest and celebrations are in full swing. Although I've been here before, I'm always surprised at just how large Munich Brauhaus is. I've driven past Sardi many times, seen how busy it was and for some reason initially thinking it was a small Italian restaurant. Dropping into Salona for a quick meal on the way home, I ordered a beef souvlona. A mix between a burger and souvlaki, souvlonas are a Salona creation. The thin beef patty was accented with saganaki, capers, mustard tzatziki and cos lettuce, all wrapped up in satisfyingly toasty and fluffy pita bread.
