10 Jan Sweets and Pastries, Gourdes

We visited Gourdes, another Roman-influenced town. Mum bought a custard tart and a ‘crocodile’ with almonds and pistachios for €2 something each from Boulangerie Mamie Jane. The ‘crocodile’ actually has hazelnuts in it too. There’s another green ingredient, which wasn’t pistachio, but I’m not sure what it is. The texture reminded me of chocolate.
