We’re staying in the Mercure hotel in Bordeaux and this is where we had our last included dinner in the hotel.
Starters: salad (leaves, grated carrot, cubed beetroot, corn kernels and tomato) with a light dressing
Mains: chicken breast with a white, lemon sauce, a potato stack and broccoli. The chicken was tender and cooked well.

Dessert: tart, sort of like a vol au vent with light cream topped with blueberry and cranberry coulee and dressed with a sweet berry reduction in a star shape.
