Celebrity Solstice – Celebrity Cruises’ Culinary Showcase

Celebrity Solstice has stepped up its offerings available for foodie guests. The cruiseship has a range of culinary experiences, restaurants, cafes, and bars.

Their recently introduced ‘A Taste of Film’ experience takes place on their Lawn Club (which features REAL grass, not astroturf). As guests treat themselves to a foodie movie, 9-10 matching canapes are served.

Under the headship of Executive Chef Karl Dufeil, the 170 on-board chefs prep 13,000 meals each day for the 4,000 crew and guests. Meals often showcase ingredients that reflect the regions it’s travelling through en route – more lamb while in Australia for example. The main restaurant itself seats 1400 guests. Designed after a champagne bottle, its two-storey wine tower houses 400 labels and 1800 bottles of wine. For more focussed dining, guests can indulge in Japanese fusion at Sushi on Five, and Italian cuisine at Tuscan Grille and more.

The Tuscan Grille boasts a popular Antipasti Board, and delectable entrees such as Berkshire Pork Belly and moist Crab Cakes. Short Rib Pappardelle Ragu and Lobster Rigatoni Alfredo are amongst the hand-made pasta options. The Pistachio Marble Creme Brulee with pistachio creme and chocolate ganache center is the perfect way to end the meal.

Cap off the night by watching a show at Martini Bar & Crush, or relaxing into the comfy chairs at Passport Bar.

The Celebrity Solstice is the most decorated ship of in the Solstice line operated by Celebrity Cruises. Find out more about the Solstice here.
