This visit was with mum, who ordered the spicy pork dosirak. I went with kimchi udon. I can't remember which one was $11 and which was $13. I had a 5 hour break while I was at uni so went to visit Shimbashi for lunch. The soba noodles are handmade in-house and when I arrived the chef (Takafumi Kumayama) was making the noodles at the window at front of the restaurant. My eyes gravitated towards the stone-cooked (dolsot) version such that I don't even remember the price of the non-stone cooked ("cold", but actually room temperature) version.
