Uncle Tetsu’s super fluffy Japanese-style cheesecakes has been all the rage in Sydney for over a year. Now, their global empire has finally extended its reach to Melbourne.

Experience a variety of flavours and textures by eating them at room temperature, fresh out of the oven (or microwave) or chilled. It seems to have more intense flavors when hot or chilled, and its texture is a little firmer out of the fridge. When at room temperature or warmer you can smell the fragrance of eggs and butter, but the flavour is surprisingly subtle. The cheesecake simply melts in the mouth – you could say it’s almost like eating a cloud, which also means it disappears down the hatch all too fast. Definitely worth experiencing at least once.
