Dropping into Salona for a quick meal on the way home, I ordered a beef souvlona. A mix between a burger and souvlaki, souvlonas are a Salona creation. The thin beef patty was accented with saganaki, capers, mustard tzatziki and cos lettuce, all wrapped up in satisfyingly toasty and fluffy pita bread. To go with it were some super crunchy spiced chips. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the souvlona.
