Bread, Avignon

I wanted to see if I could find a savoury fougasse, but the olive and herb one they had looked a bit sad, and I wasn’t interested in the fougasse feuille. Instead, I bought a provencal miel et amandes (€2.20), which was like a slice with a biscuity base, a layer of honey paste and a sliced almond topping. It was pretty nice, though too sweet to eat too much at once. It reminded me of honey joys, which isn’t surprising seeing as they both have honey.
