After our day out, we then took the metro to Paddington where we had dinner at Aberdeen Steak House (part of the Angus Steak Houses group). Dad had lamb shanks (₤15), mum had grilled salmon (₤15), A2 had spinach and ricotta strudel (₤13) and I had a fillet steak (€18). The macarons were 2.5 times more expensive than the ones we had in Lucerne, but they were also bigger and tasted much better. The big macarons were four times the size of the small ones and cost nearly €5. The Illumination and dinner excursion (€66) left the hotel at 6:00pm. On the bus we drove past a few landmarks including the opera house then were dropped off at La Noces de Jeannette, the restaurant where we would be having dinner.
